Allergy

Allergy is a skin reaction to a normally harmless substance or medication.  Symptoms can range from mild discomfort to life-threatening conditions.

Causes

Your immune system responds by making immunoglobulin E after your first exposure to the drug (sensitization). Some people are allergic to medicine the first time they ingest the drug. For others, they may not have a reaction until their second exposure or even after many exposures.
Symptoms

Over the counter anti-allergy drugs are available for simple allergic conditions. If symptoms persist, consult your doctor
